PM Modi to launch a massive recruitment drive very soon called ‘Rozgar Mela’ to fill 10 lakh Government job vacancies. The government has taken an essential step against unemployment in India. This employment drive will commence on October 12, 2022, at 11 am through video conferencing mode.

75,000 newly appointed candidates will receive appointment letters during this ceremony. Then, afterwards, PM Modi will also address these recruits during the ceremony, said the PMO office with an official statement.
This will be a significant step forward towards fulfilling the continuous commitment of the Prime Minister to providing job opportunities for the youth and ensuring the welfare of citizens,” reads the statement.
“As per the directions of the Prime Minister, all ministries and departments are working towards filling up existing vacancies against sanctioned posts in mission mode”, the release added.
The recruits, from across the country, after the recruitment, will join 38 Government Ministry Departments. Moreover, they will be appointed under specific categories: Group – A, Group – B (Gazetted), Group – B (Non-Gazetted) and Group – C.
Various posts will be assigned to these fresh candidates, including “Central Armed Force Personnel, Sub Inspector, Constable, LDC Steno, PA, Income Tax Inspectors, MTS, and many others.”
This massive recruitment drive is being carried out by the Government itself along with recruiting bodies like UPSC, SSC, and Railway Recruitment Board. For this speedy recruitment, the selection process has been amazingly simplified and evolved a few technical rounds.

- In Group A (gazetted)- 23,584 Posts
- For Group B (gazetted)- 26,282 Posts
- As For Group B (non-gazetted)- 92,525 Posts
- Total For Group C (non-gazetted)- 8.36 lakh Posts
Most of the candidate share goes to Defence Ministry With:
- 39,366 Posts in Group B (non-gazetted)
- 2.14 Lakh Posts in Group C
As for Railway, it has 2.91 lakh posts in Group C and MHA has 1.21 lakh posts in Group C (non-gazetted).
