The recently concluded Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) 2019 in Delhi saw the successful conduct of 1st video call on India’s own 5G network. Tech giants Ericsson and Qualcomm Technologies made the video call.

Nunzio Mirtillo the head of Ericsson South East Asia, Oceania, and India, made a video call to Rajen Vagadia, vice president, Qualcomm India as a part of the process.

This gives a thrust to India’s plan of transforming its internet ecosystem from the present 4G dominance to 5G.
