In what can be said as an early start to get important documents done a 30 days old baby got ‘Aadhaar Number‘. The incident has come to light from Hyderabad. The UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority Of India) tweeted about the same presenting it as an example.
As per rules, even a 1-day baby can get his/her ‘Aadhaar Number‘. For children less than 5 years parents are required to fill the form and submit the birth certificate. No biometrics are recorded before the age of 5 years/ 15 years.

Till the biometrics are done kids Aadhaar number remains linked with the parent’s Aadhaar number. For kids Aadhaar to be generated parents must have their own Aadhaar number as per rules.
