Their tweet goes as, “Delhi braces for severe heatwave as maximum temperature breaches 49 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was recorded at 49.2 degrees Celsius at Delhi’s Mungeshpur, reports ANI.”

North India is currently facing terrible heatwaves and it is predicted by the weather forecast that a more severe heatwave is going to hit in the upcoming days. Many major cities are feeling like they are cooked in an oven as the temperature reaches 50 degrees celsius.

Social media users started to flood Twitter with humorous memes as soon as weather news of 49 degrees Celsius in National Captial reached their minds.
A user tweeted, “Finally no more LPG required for cooking as Delhi temperature reaches 49°c.”
Another user remembered the Bengaluru weather and said, “Craving for Bangalore weather in Delhi”.
“Delhi is toasty and not in a good way”, another tweeted.
Few more humorous statements come along saying, “I’m planning to move to Bangalore, can’t resist the heat of Delh any more.” and “Have been living here for almost 17 years now but not anymore.”
