Out of the many things that youths and travel freaks across the world want to do once in their lifetime is trekking for the fun it comes tucked along with. And if you are a believer of ‘live your life to the fullest theory’, then trekking must naturally make it to your to-do list.
However, like everything else in the world beings small, your love for trekking must also be foot-printed on small treks first so you get an experience of the challenges you have to overcome to conquer the tougher treks.
So if a beginner or just wanting to trek with your family over the weekend, then here are 7 easy yet super fun treks they can consider.
1. Nag Tibba
The trek lies somewhere in Mussoorie and is among the most sought ones. Also, another trek named Lal Tibba is equally fun to take if in Mussoorie. While Nag Tibba offers aesthetic views of snow-clad mountains, Lal Tibba, on the other hand, will expose the highest peaks in Mussoorie. The trip is closer form Delhi and could be a perfect weekend adventure amidst stunning views of the Himalayan ranges.

2. Triund Trek
Triund Trek can be completed in just one day and is located around one of my favourite destinations in North India – Kangra. The trek offers you a glimpse of the famous Bhagsu waterfall, Kangra valley, dense forest and chilling cold water.
3. Bhrigu Trek
Bhrigu Lake is 24 km away from Manali in Himachal Pradesh. You can enjoy the breathtaking frozen glacier lake here and get some epic pictures clicked. The overall trip can take at least 4 days to complete.
4. Tadiandamol Trek
This one is from the South Indian state of Karnataka, a little less explored yet one of the best you would come across in India. And if a mountain lover like me, be sure you explore this one.
5. Hamta Circuit Trek
Himachal Pradesh is an exceptional travelling destination and so are the treks it has for you to explore. The trek will ensure you talk about the panoramic Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges on your way back home. And also get your camera ready for the flower-embellished valleys that you would bump into for the most part of the trip.
6. Rajmachi Fort Trek
If you are in Mumbai or Pune, then this trek will leave you mesmerized. The trek is one of the picturesque offering a mix of forests and open grasslands. You can enjoy the view of lush green mountains and a wondrous waterfall.
7. Deoriatal To Chopta
When in Chopta after completing the Chandrashila Trek don’t expect the best of accommodation. The best it offers is a star-studded sky as you are supposed to camp around the mountains. Also, don’t forget to get a glimpse of the Tungnath temple.
Get, set, trek!!
