As per UK-based market research company Euromonitor International, seven Indian cities have made it to the list of World’s Most Popular City Destinations for 2019. In the list, Delhi bagged the 11th spot followed by Mumbai at 14th rank, Agra at 26th rank, Chennai ranked 36th, Jaipur at 39th, Kolkata at 76th and Bengaluru claimed the 100th spot.

The cities were judged on the basis of “strong cultural resources, diversity of experiences and price competitiveness”. Overall, Asian cities dominated the list with as many as 43 Asian cities making it to the list. Hongkong was named the most popular city destination for tourists followed by other cities include Bangkok, Macau, Singapore, London and New York City.
