Seven Islamic terrorists who were involved in the horrific attacks on Dhaka’s Holey Artisan cafe were sentenced to death by Bangladesh’s anti-terrorism tribunal. The attack that took place in 2016 was targeted at the foreigners killing 22 people in total.

An Indian citizen was also killed in these attacks apart from Italians, Japanese and an American national. The attacks were one of the most horrific and deadliest in Bangladesh’s history.

Bangladeshi PM Sheik Hasina criticized the event in a televised address back then saying that the militants don’t have a religion.
