Months down, and the protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act doesn’t seem to be plunging. Instead, people are coming up with creative ways to protest against the same.
After ongoing indefinite protest by women and children at Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh, Kerala came forward to form a 620 Km long human-chain to stage a protest against CAA on Republic Day.

A human chain, consisting of over 70 lakh people, was formed from the northern part of Kerala to the southern. The chain formation was organised by the ruling party, which has also passed a resolution against the Act in the Assembly. The government has also moved to the Supreme Court against the act.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and CPI leader Kanam Rajendran joined the protest in Thiruvananthapuram.
The human chain was formed at 4 PM followed by the reading of preamble of the Constitution. Surely a phenomenal way of protest caught the attention of the world.
