A day after OnePlus globally launched its 2020 flagships OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, Apple has announced its much-awaited iPhone SE 2020. Yes, that is what it is called. No iPhone 9 or SE 2, just iPhone SE 2020.
The iPhone SE 2020 is basically an iPhone 11 in an iPhone 8 body. The same is likely to be sold at around Rs 42,000 in India. Well, to be honest, I would prefer spending a bit more to buy iPhone X rather than spending 42,000 on a 4.7-inch screen. PS – my hands are big and I like bigger screens.
However, the good part is that the iPhone SE comes with many features that are currently available on iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. These include the same A13 Bionic processor, support for Qi wireless charging, True Tone display and IP67 dust and splash resistance.
For the shutterbugs, the phone comes with a single rear 12MP camera with a 28mm f/1.8 lens with Portrait Mode, Smart HDR and optical image stabilization.
The phone supports Touch id while face id and headphone jack are missing. People in the US can start pre-ordering SE 2020 from April 17, 2020, while there is no such date for India for now.
