As kids, we all had this undying penchant for comparing us with cartoon characters and that tendency still prevails, at least in me. So fanning this craze to compare ourselves with cartoon characters, we tried to look for similarities between zodiac signs and memorable 90s cartoon shows characters and discovered this:
1. Aries
Aries is a courageous and ambitious sign that charges headfirst into even the most difficult circumstances, making sure they always come out on top! Aries in their true self are bold and ambitious and aren’t scared to dive into even the most challenging situations. These qualities had us comparing an Aries with the Pokemon trainer Ash Ketchum. A 10-year old who isn’t terrified to walk through the woods thwarting attempts of kidnapping from miscreant that team rocket is. What else would you call being brave?
2. Taurus
Taursians prefer unwinding in quiet, outside settings surrounded by soft sounds, calming fragrances, and exquisite flavors. Taursians are hardworking, foodie and crave physical touch like a drug. They belong to Earth element and thus are down to Earth and appreciate the little things in life. After scanning our 90s cartoons list, Shizuka is what we think will reciprocate all the Taurus qualities. Shizuka is a reliable friend to Nobita with endless reserves of tenacity, patience and resilience just like a Taurus.
3. Gemini
Gemini is impulsive, playful, and endearingly chaotic due to its endless curiosity. Geminis are broad-minded people with a pinch of wit and humor intact that makes them socially acceptable. Gemini’s are naturally wired with a heightened awareness of their surroundings just like Marina from Zig and Sharko. Marina minds her own business and could be seen sweet-talking everyone around. She is also good at making friends that is one obvious Gemini trait.

4. Cancer
Cancer’s ability to exist in both the emotional and material worlds. Cancers are highly intuitive, and often exhibit psychic talents in physical settings. This is a no brainer, Courage from Courage The Cowardly Dog – an old cartoon network show – in many ways is like cancer. Like a Cancer, courage has this tendency to care about everyone in their vicinity. Ruled by the Moon, Cancer tries to keep everyone on track including the ones who mean nothing to them. Why do you think Courage had a soft heart for several creatures? Well, because he is a Cancer.

5. Leo
Leos are confident, theatrical, and fiery people who enjoy being in the spotlight and having fun. Leo is ruled by the sun and is known for stability, loyalty, and consistency. They can become impaired by ego and pride at times but are dedicated lovers and friends. Among all the 90s cartoon shows, Johnny Bravo fits the role of Leo. He is consistent at flirting with women and despite his extremely disappointing luck with them, he maintains the stability.
6. Virgo
Virgos approach life logically, practically, and methodically. Virgo is the smartest zodiac of all, and smartness is synonyms to Dexter. Also, they have one of the best memories out of any other horoscope and no 90s cartoon comes close to Dexter when it comes to memory. He is definitely a Virgo because of his work ethic. Also, like most Virgo, Dexter gets frustrated so easily.
7. Libra
In all aspects of life, especially when it comes to matters of the heart, Libra is fascinated with symmetry and seeks to achieve harmony. Libras are peaceful and fair. They enjoy the company of others. They are fascinated with balance and symmetry, and because of that, they scout for justice whenever they can. We think the kids favorite Doraemon has all these qualities to be called a Libra. Doraemon enjoys the company of Nobita and his friends and tries to find balance in every situation.
8. Scorpio
Scorpio is one of the zodiac’s most complex and dynamic signs because of its psychic talents, which also give it an exceptional amount of courage. A Scorpio is extremely clairvoyant. They don’t reveal much until they are head over heels over you. And when they do, they spew a charismatic aura that you won’t be able to restrain. Isabella Garcia-Shapiro from Phineas and Ferb is probably a Scorpio as she is the sweetest when around Phineas Flynn. She is also witty and would make you smile often.
9. Sagittarius
Sagittarians are constantly seeking out new information. As the final fire sign of the zodiac, Sagittarius sets out on a wide range of endeavors, pursuing intellectual, spiritual, and geographic explorations.
Sagittarius is open-minded and passionate about traveling and garnering knowledge about things. They care about people they love but hesitate to show the same. Baloo the bear is Sagittarius for his undying penchant for exploring the world. Also, he loves his friends but won’t show them in person. Ohh cryptic Sagittarius.

10. Capricorn
Capricorn is ascending the mountain head-on and is aware that the only way to the top is through persistence, patience, and determination. Capricorns are adept at navigating both the physical and emotional worlds, as a result. A Capricorn is practical, self-reliant, stoic and ambitious and so is Batman. The mysterious persona of Batman blended with his confidence in himself lands him in Capricon land. Despite being very mysterious, he is ambitious about technology and keeping the citizens of Gotham safe from the criminals that lurk in the city.
11. Aquarius
Aquarius is innovative, progressive, blatantly revolutionary, and the most compassionate. Aquarius is devoted to improving the world, at the end of the day. Aquarius is regarded as the leader of the zodiac and is more like Optimus Prime’s from “Transformers”. The leader of the Autobots is known for his compassion, bravery, leadership capabilities and his selfless behavior on many different occasions. Aquarius’ are also intelligent and innovative thinkers.
12. Pisces
Pisces is the zodiac sign that is the most perceptive, sensitive, and compassionate. Two fish swimming in opposite directions is used as a symbol to reflect the continual divide of Pisces’ focus between fantasy and reality.The natives born under the sign Pisces are empathy, intuitive, artistic, selfless, generous and emotional. They can be overwhelmed with the world, and therefore try to escape reality. Katara‘s grim energy and compassionate nature helped Aang on his journeys to master all four elements. Thus, she claims the Pisces tag.
Not many Indian cartoon characters make to the list but obviously, India also has its own palette of cartoon characters that you can compare to your zodiac. For example, kids favourite Chota Bheem shares the likes of a Virgo. And Motu from Motu and Patlu is probably a Scorpio for the funny side he homes.
