In what can be said as an innovative attempt at smuggling a man was caught by Customs Department at the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow. The person who was coming from Dubai was smuggling gold by pasting it on his back.
The smuggler converted the precious yellow metal into a semi-liquid paste to hide it from the eyes of officials. He then attached the paste on his back. The person was taken in custody immediately.

The quantity of gold that was been smuggled is calculated to be around 542 grams. Value of it stands at around 21.5 lakhs.
