Indian Railway began investing in its model to give passengers a better travelling experience. Multiple trains in the Lucknow division have recently been impacted, cancelled, and rescheduled due to ongoing rehabilitation work at Samastipur Division’s Bapudham Motihari station.
The Western Railway has also verified the news. According to the official statement, four to five train travels will be impacted by the continuing work at the previous grounds, as eight trains will be cancelled and 18 trains will operate on diverted routes.
In the midst of this, train no. 09466, which departs from Darbhanga station for Ahmedabad Junction on December 18, 25, and January 1, 8, and 15, 2024, is expected to be delayed by 30 minutes.
List of Cancelled Trains
- The Train No.15269 Sabarmati JanSadharan Express, which was due to depart Muzaffarpur station on December 14, 21, 28, and December 2023, and January 4 and 11, 2024, has been cancelled.
- Train No.15270 Muzaffarpur JanSadharan Express, set to travel from Sabarmati on December 16, 23, 30, 2023 and January 6 and 13, 2024, has been cancelled.
- Train Number 15046 Gorakhpur Express, which departs for Okha on December 17, 24, 31, 2023 and January 7, 14, 2024, falls into the same category.
- The 15045 Okha Express departs Gorakhpur station on December 14, 21, 28, 2023, and January 4 and 11, 2024.
- Train No. 19615 Kamakhya Kavi Guru Express, which departs Udaipur at 16:05 on December 11th, 18, 25th, and 1st and 8th, 2024, will not run.
- Train No. 22922 Bandra Terminus Antyodaya Express from Gorakhpur Junction railway station to Bandra Junction on December 12, 2023, is cancelled. On December 19, 26, and January 9 and 16, 2024, the scenario will stay the same.
List of Diverted Trains
- On December 12, 2023, train No. 19037 Barauni Avadh Express from Bandra Terminus would be diverted via Sagauli, Raxaul, Sitamarhi, and Muzaffarpur.
- Train No. 19038 Avadh Express, which departs from Barauni Junction on December 15, 2023, will be detoured via Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Raxaul, and Sagauli.
- Train No. 15067, Bandra Terminus Weekly Express, which departs from Gorakhpur junction and travels to Bandra Terminus, would be diverted via Gorakhpur, Ayodhya Cantt, Sultanpur, Prayagraj, and Kanpur on December 13, 20, 27, and January 3 and 10, 2024.
