The coronavirus new cases in the country are back in the last few weeks as it is soared from 1.55 per cent to 1.96 per cent in a very less time. The coronavirus cases have reached 1, 58,856 in India. Keeping this in mind, the Gujarat government has planned to impose a 10 pm to 6 am night curfew in Gujarat from 17th March 2021 to 31st March 2021.
In spike of coronavirus infections, the Gujarat government announced to impose a night curfew in Gujarat’s four major cities – Surat, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, and Vadodara of the state.

As per the State Government statement, “Pre-night curfew system will be maintained in these four cities till 16th March from 12 is to 6 am.”
Gujarat Register 890 New Covid-19 Cases
After the rise of coronavirus cases in Punjab and Maharashtra, Gujarat registered 890 new Covid-19 cases on Monday. Out of 890, Surat led with 262 new cases, followed by Ahmedabad (209), Vadodara (97), and Rajkot (95). Additionally, 594 people have recovered whereas one Surat resident died, as per the official report.
The count for recovery patient in Gujarat is 2, 69,955, i.e. equal to 96.72%, and the total death toll is 4,425, while the active cases are 4,717.
