An essential document, the Aadhaar card, is required to open a bank account, apply for a loan, and get a SIM card. The card, which is issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), combines biometric data, such as fingerprint and iris scans, with demographic information, such as the holder’s name, date of birth, and residence.
Users can experience issues if they enter incorrect information on the card, particularly about the date of birth. When getting government schemes and undergoing official verifications, discrepancies with other papers are likely to cause further obstacles. As a result, one must get any errors in their Aadhaar card fixed.
It is important to remember that Aadhaar card holders can only modify their date of birth once as per UIDAI regulations.
