The Aadhaar card has now become one of the most important pieces of document in India. It helps in several aspects from banking accounts to vehicle registrations to home loans. This is why it is important to have access to Aadhaar both offline and online. The UIDAI requires cardholders to have a registered mobile number linked to the Aadhaar card to download it.
Now, as per the newest changes, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) allows the option to download Aadhaar without registered mobile number. Another change is downloading the Aadhaar card via SMS (if they have a registered mobile number) who do not have access to a smartphone or a computer.
