James Caan, an Oscar-Nominated actor, famous for the iconic roles in “The Godfather,” ”Brian’s Song,” “Misery,” and ”Elf”, passed away at the age of 82. As per an announcement made by his family on Twitter, the actor passed away on July 6. “It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Jimmy on the evening of July 6,” his family said in a statement. “The family appreciates the outpouring of love and heartfelt condolences and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time,” they said in an announcement.
