Adani Wilmar is one of the prominent fast-moving consumer goods(FMCG) companies in India and manufactures a wide range of daily essential kitchen products like edible oil, wheat flour, rice, pulses, and sugar. The company has recently reduced the price of edible oils up to Rs.30 per liter.
Price of Soyabean Oil Cut By Adani Wilmar
The firm has reduced the prices of Soyabean oil. The announcement was done after the Food Ministry directed edible oil firms to pass on the benefit of a drop in global cooking oil prices to customers. The stocks of oil with the revised prices will arrive soon in the Indian market.
The Current Prices
The company manufactures and sells edible oils under the Fortune brand. Soyabean oil prices have been reduced from Rs.195 per liter to Rs.165 per liter. The sunflower oil price is made cheaper to Rs.199 per liter from Rs.210 per liter. The maximum retail price of Mustard Oil has been reduced to Rs.190 per liter from Rs.195 per liter.
Reduced Prices By Adani Wilmar
Fortune rice bran oil prices have been reduced to Rs.210 per liter from Rs.225 per liter. The groundnut oil price is revised and will be Rs.210 per liter from Rs.220 per liter. The price of Raag vanaspati is reduced to Rs.185 per liter from Rs.200 per liter and the Raag palmolein oil price has been cut to Rs.144 per liter from Rs.170 per liter.
“We have passed on the benefits of global price reduction to our consumers and the stocks with new prices will reach the market soon, “Angshu Mallick, the MD & CEO of Adani Wilmar was quoted by PTI.As per him, the products will be available at reduced costs to customers. This step will certainly boost demand for the upcoming festive season.

In a similar effort on February 7, 2022, Mother Dairy, which manufactures and sells edible oils under the Dhara brand, reduced its prices of soybean and rice bran oils by at least Rs.14 per liter.
