Anyone who has grown up watching Pokemon, he/she must know about the inspearble pair that Ash and Pikachu is. Over time, you must have seen many pokemons evolve and now it seems that Pikachu is next. Yes, you might not see the yellow Pikachu but a brown one soon.
The news is, Ash’s Pikachu may finally evolve into Raichu in the next episodes of Pokémon according to a leaked summary for episode 35 titled I Got Pikachu. Here is a sinppet of the possible script where Pikachu evolves into Raichu. It appears as though Goh’s desire for his own Pikachu may shake up the party dynamic.
As [Goh] watches [Ash] and Pikachu, he suddenly realizes he wants to get a Pikachu of his own! The laboratory head, [Professor Cerise], tells him about an outbreak of Pikachu, so he decides to immediately head there to investigate. A lot of Pikachu have been digging “Thunderstones” out of the rock face and used their power to evolve into Raichu… and then Ash’s Pikachu finally evolves into a Raichu as well thanks to a “Thunderstone” discovered by a very obliging female Pikachu?!
In brief the episode has Ash and pickachu bumping into a mass gathering of Pikachu who are digging for Thunderstones in order to evolve themselves. Ash’s Pikachu then decided that it’s time and goes forward to evolve in to Raichu.
Pikachu had decided in the first season not to evolve after a tough loss at the Vermillion City Gym. However, in the 7th series (23rd season) it appears that he might want to.
