DD is giving all the competition it can to any streaming service you know by re-telacasting some of its iconic shows. After Ramayan, Mahabharat, Circus and more, DD is now all set to reintroduce its 90s animation show The Jungle Book: The Adventures of Mowgli.
The show first appeared on TV in October 1989 and soon became one of the most favourite shows among Indians. The show was later released across the world in multiple languages.

Doordarshan announced that The Jungle Book will stream on TV every 1 PM starting from April 8. So get ready to hear one of our childhood favourite songs Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai, frequently.
People also seem so excited about the re-telecast of the show and are praising Doordarshan for bringing it back into our lives.

The Jungle Book is originally a Japanese anime adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s original collection of stories. The show has around 52 episodes depicts a tale wherein a human boy is raised by a pack of wolves while other animals in the jungle envy him.
