Dr. Sudhir Gupta, who is the in-charge of the AIIMS panel investigating the post-mortem report of Sushant Singh Rajput, has said that Sushant Singh Rajput’s death was a suicide, not murder, reports NDTV.
“Sushant death is a case of suicide. Murder completely ruled out,” the doctor said, according to India Today. The AIIMS doctors had submitted their findings to the CBI on September 29.

Sushant Singh was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai on June 14. Though Mumbai Police has said that the actor died by suicide, Sushant Singh family had alleged that he might have been murdered. The case was then transferred to CBI on Supreme Court’s order.

Vikas Singh, the judge representing Sushant’s father, has earlier said that the AIIMS doctor told him “that Sushant’s death was by strangulation.”

However, Dr Sudhir Gupta brushing had refuted these claims.“No conclusion or conclusion opinion of homicide or suicide could be made by seeing ligature marks and scene of occurrence. It’s difficult for doctors and next to impossible for general people, needed solely internal link discretion and forensic interpretation,” he had said.
