NCP leader and chief Sharad Pawar’s nephew Ajit Pawar and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis resigned from their respective post of deputy CM And CM of Maharashtra days after the swearing-in ceremony. This comes after the Supreme Court on Tuesday said that the floor test in the state Assembly will be conducted on November 27.
Earlier, NCP chief, Sharad Pawar has said that Ajit’s move to support BJP to form the state government was his personal decision.

To note Ajit Pawar had claimed the support of all 54 MLAs of his party NCP; after the oath-taking ceremony on Nov 23. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is currently addressing a press conference at Sahyadri.
