The alertness of Delhi Metro’s driver saved the life of a civil services (conducted by UPSC) aspirant on Monday. As per reports a young civil services aspirant, who had failed UPSC preliminary examination last year attempted suicide by jumping in front of a moving train.
The incident was reported from the Karol Bagh metro station on Delhi Metro’s blue line. On seeing the student on track the train operator applied brakes immediately, said a police official who was present at that time on the station.

The aspirant received minor injuries and was sent to DDU Hospital for treatment and was later discharged. The father of the student was informed about the incident by the police.
