Taking some serious measures to curb ‘public gatherings’ amidst COVID-19 ‘Punjab State Government’ has suspended ‘public transport’. The government on Thursday announced that all forms of ‘public transport’ would be suspended after midnight of 20th March.
The suspension would include ‘auto-rickshaws and tempos’ as well. The government has also decided to limit the public gathering to 20 from the existing 50 to stop the virus. So, far the state has recorded 1positive case of COVID-19
The state government has already shut schools and colleges in the state. All kinds of examinations in the state are also suspended. The new schedule of the exam would be announced after 1st April. The central government has also beefed up measures to prevent COVID-19. So, far 175 cases have been reported in the country. 15 of the patients have recovered.
