In what comes as tragic news, NBA star and Basketball legend wad killed in a plane crash on Sunday. Kobe, with one of his four daughters, was on his way to the court for Basketball practice when the incident occurred. His daughter Gianna, who was just 13, also lost her life in the incident.
As per the report, the helicopter slammed into a hillside in Calabasas and went down in a field off Las Virgenes.
The aircraft had left John Wayne Airport at 9:06 am and met with the incident an hour later. An onlooker said that no one could have survived the crash looking at its intensity from afar.
“Because of its proximity to the ground, I knew something was wrong. It was hovering real low like they were searching to land,” he said.

Kobe Bryant was one of the best basketball players the game has ever produced. He started his career in 1996. The American, ever since, has been a part of a professional basketball team in Los Angeles named Lakers.

Kobe has won two gold medals in the Olympics, two NBA Finals Most Valuable Player (MVPs) and a regular-season MVP in 2008. He ended his glorious basketball career in 2016 with 33,643 points.
His parents named his Kobe after they saw a type of steak on a restaurant menu. Apparently, Kobe beef is a form of species of cattle, raised in Japan’s Kobe area.

Kobe also is known as Black Mamba also has an Oscar connection. He won an Oscar in 281 for animated short Dear Basketball, which was based on a poem he penned.
