The opening of Vande Bharat Express to Goa was announced by Indian Railways on Tuesday. The train will start from Madgaon station in Goa to Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal. However, this is Maharashtra’s fifth Vande Bharat Express. The 22229 and 22230 train numbers are designated for the Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express. This train will run every day but Friday, six days a week. Indian Railways anticipates growth in these two states’ tourism industries.
According to a statement issued by the Indian Railways- “At present, the journey from Madgaon station in Goa to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai, covering a distance of about 586 km, takes about 11-12 hours. This distance can be covered by Vande Bharat train in just 8 hours, due to which the passengers will save about 3-4 hours,”
Timings For Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express
The timings for the Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express will be different for the Non-Monsoon Season and the Monsoon Season as per the Indian Railways.
During the Non-Monsoon Season
Trains 22229 and 22230 will leave Madgaon station at 14:40 and 22:25, respectively, and will arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai at 05:25 and 13:10, respectively, during the non-monsoon season.
During the Monsoon Season
The Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express will run three times every week during the monsoon season. The CSMT Mumbai train number 22229 will leave every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 05:25 hrs. It will arrive in Madgaon at 15:30 hrs., while the Madgaon train number 22230 will leave Madgaon at 12:20 hrs. every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday to arrive in Mumbai at 22:25 hrs.

Ticket Cost for the Madgaon-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express
Travelers can select between AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car on the Vande Baharat Express. For an AC Chair Car, the Madgaon-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express price is Rs 1970. However, the cost of an executive chair car will be Rs 3535. The catering costs are included in these costs.
Ticket Cost for the Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express
The cost of the AC Chair Car on the Vande Bharat Express between Mumbai and Madgaon is Rs 1815. However, the price for an executive chair car would be Rs 3360, including catering costs.
