Giving the Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh government a severe jolt the Allahabad HC on Monday ordered the removal of the poster naming Anti-CAA protestors. The Lucknow administration last week put pictures of 53 anti-CAA protesters who participated in violent protests in the state’s capital on December 19.
The posters were put across various locations in the city of Lucknow. Soon after the move, the government started attracting criticism and the ‘Allahabad High Court’ took ‘suo moto’ cognizance of the issue staging a hearing on ‘Sunday’.
