As the schools in Delhi are shut down for two days due to the rising air pollution and the presence of toxic smog hundreds of children participated in ‘Run for Children’ organized by an NGO.

The NGO named Prayas organized its annual Run for Children to mark the birth anniversary of India’s 1st PM Jawaharlal Nehru popularly celebrated as children’s day. Children were seen running without a mask in the toxic air.

Doctors have said that considering the pollution level in Delhi any kind of activity involving heavy breathing must be avoided.
