There is good news for all citizens you can now purchase Delhi Metro tickets using WhatsApp. This newly launched service has been launched in collaboration with PeLocal Fintech Private Limited and is currently in the testing phase. Dr. Vikas Kumar, the Managing Director of DMRC from Metro Bhawan, launched the new pilot project. He added that this would be great for all the people who don’t know how to book a ticket.
People will be able to purchase metro tickets more quickly and easily using WhatsApp. Since it is a test initiative, the opportunity to buy tickets will be limited to specific metro stations and will not be accessible to all destinations. New Delhi, Shivaji Stadium, Dhaula Kaun, Delhi Aerocity, IGI Airport, and Dwarka Sector 21 are among the operational stations. However, additional stations are anticipated to be added to the list in the near future.
