The Mahindra Group chairman, Anand Mahindra, often shares inspirational stories on his Twitter handle and here’s another one.
The business tycoon this time labelled a 94-year-old woman as the ‘Women entrepreneur of the year‘ after learning her story.
This comes after a woman named Dr Madhu Teckchandani tagged Mahindra is a tweet that consisted of video. The video entails the story of a Chandigarh-based woman, Harbhajan Kaur, who runs a home-made ‘besan ki barfi’ business.
In the video, one can learn that Harbajan Kaur’s had always wanted to earn for herself and told the same to her daughter. The duo together set up a start-up, which, today is four years old and doing great.

Once Mahindra noticed the same, he couldn’t stop but only praise the lady for her passion and dedication.
“When you hear the word ‘start-up’ it brings to mind images of millennials in Silicon Valley or Bengaluru trying to build billion dollar ‘unicorns.’ From now on let’s also include a 94 yr old woman who doesn’t think it’s too late to do a start-up,” he wrote in addition to calling her “my entrepreneur of the year,” Mahindra replied.
Besides the business tycoon, netizens also came out to praise her dedication.
