Images of a Ration Card from Andhra Pradesh possessing Jesus Christ’s image has sparked a row in the state. The police said that the ration card dealer, Manga Devi, who runs the shop at Vadlamuru village in Peddapuram was trying to spread religious propaganda via the act.

Police suspect that the dealer’s husband, though not a Christian himself, resorted to the act with an intention to damage the reputation of the YSRC government. Police added that back in 2016, the same person has printed Ration card with images of other deities, including Sai Baba, printed on them.
