Apple has finally unveiled some brand new iPhones under the iPhone 12 marquee (no kidney jokes). The show-stealer from the event were mainly two iPhones – the iPhone 12 Mini, priced at $699 and iPhone 12 for $799.
In brief, a total of four iPhones were launched at the event – iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max – and all of them are 5G enabled devices.
Besides iPhones, Apple also unveiled “HomePod mini,” which is a personal home assistant powered by Siri. The device integrates with all your Apple products and has been priced at $99.
iPhone 12
iPhone 12 is not just being praised for its revamped design but also for the specifications it entertains. The phone offers a Super Retina XDR display or “Apple custom OLED” with 460 ppi, twice as many pixels as the iPhone 11.

Also, it is powered by Apple’s latest A14 bionic chip, which Apple claims is 50% faster than the A13 chip.
For snappers, iPhone 12 features a dual-camera setup with a 12MP wide sensor (f/1.6 aperture) as well as a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with 120-degree field of view.
iPhone 12 Mini
The highly anticipated from the iPhone 12 series was surely the iPhone 12 Mini for the world expected it to be cheap. But sadly, $699 (Rs 69,900) ain’t cheap I believe, especially in the current scenario. In a nutshell, the iPhone 12 Mini is surely mini in size and not the price.
Anyway, for the features, the phones sport a 5.4-inch display and all the same features as iPhone 12. iPhone 12 Mini is IP68 water resistance too.
iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max
iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max got the ‘largest display ever on an iPhone’ to date. While the iPhone 12 Pro comes with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, Pro Max, on the other hand, extends it to 6.7-inch.

Other notable features include a triple camera setup with wide-angle sensors, Apple’s deep fusion support on all three cameras, HDR video recording, 5X telephoto zoom and edit Dolby Vision tuning.
The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are available in three variants – 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. These two variants will be available for purchase at Rs 119,900 and Rs 129,900, respectively from October 30.
