Apple’s annual September event was once again here giving us more than what was expected from it. While many had expected Apple to release the much-awaited iPhone 12 at the event, however, Apple has saved the surprise for later this year.
Meanwhile, Apple launched a series of new and affordable products at the event including the Apple Watch Series 6, Apple Watch SE, iPad 8th Gen, and iPad Air (2020). The company also unveiled its Apple One subscription bundle service. Apple announced that iOS 14, iPadOS 14, and watchOS 7 will be released on September 16.
1. Apple Watch Series 6
Priced at a whopping $399 in the US (Rs. 40,900 in India), the Apple Watch Series 6 was the first product to be announced. The best feature of the watch is its ability to measure blood oxygen saturation. The feature allows keeping an eye on how well your cardiovascular system is functioning.

Other features include an S6 processor that allows 20% faster than its predecessor. The watch is always-on-display and, can measure your elevation too. For the first time, an Apple watch is available in Red colour.
2. Apple Watch SE
Apple Watch SE is on the affordable side and targets the students’ market. It has been priced at $279 and shares familiarity with Apple Watch Series 3. The watch uses an S5 chip which is better than what available in Series 3. Cellular models for Apple Watch SE will be available. Apple Watch SE also supports Fall Detection, altimeter, swimproofing, etc.
Also, Apple also announced Apple Watch Family Setup, which allows you to pair multiple Apple Watch devices to the same iPhone.
3. Fitness+
Apple has launched a fitness service called Apple Fitness+, coded for Apple Watch users. Fitness+ allows you to choose from a series of workouts that can be played on iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV. These workouts are refreshed weekly.

Apple Fitness+ costs $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year in the US. Fitness+ will not be launched in India.
4. iPad 8th Gen
The iPad 8th Gen was announced at the Apple event. the new iPad homes A12 Bionic chip better than that of its predecessor. The iPad 8th gen also comes with a Touch ID and a similar form factor as compared to its predecessor.
5. iPad Air (2020)
On the slightly expensive side is iPad Air (2020). iPad Air (2020) gets a redesign with flat borders, a single rear camera and a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina Display and more. The iPad Air (2020) has the new A14 Bionic chip, which is the latest made by Apple and most likely to come with iPhone 12 later this year. The iPad offers 30% better graphics and 40% better CPU.
iPad 8 gen also enjoys support for 2nd gen Apple pencil, Magic Keyboard, USB-C. iPad Air (2020) price starts at $599.
6. Apple One
Last but not the least, Apple One has been priced at $15 per month and bundles all its services like Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 50GB iCloud in one pack. Also, there is a family plan too at $20 per month with 200GB iCloud. There’s a Premier plan for Apple One with Apple News+ and Apple Fitness+ at $30 per month and 2TB iCloud storage.
