As the violence in Delhi carries on from its peak yesterday Delhi Chief Minister (CM) Arvind Kejriwal came in action. After attending a press conference the CM went to have a meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah.
The meeting chaired by Amit Shah saw top police officials and BJP MP from North-East Delhi (where the violence is happening) Manoj Tiwari. The Lt Governor Anil Baijal, Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik, Congress leader Subhash Chopra were also present.

“Everyone wants the violence to be stopped. The Home Minister had called a meeting today, it was a positive one. It was decided that all the political parties will ensure that peace returns to our city”, said Kejriwal.

On asked if he’ll ask for the Army to be called Kejriwal said “If it is needed then I hope…But right now the action is being taken by police…We’ve been assured (during meeting with the Home Minister) that an adequate number of police personnel will be deployed as required”. The case of violence would also be looked into by the apex judiciary tomorrow.
