As the Coronavirus (aka mystery virus or Wuhan virus) spreads its leg out of China 25 Indians are trapped in the city of the outbreak of the virus. As per reports from Times of India 25 Indian students are trapped in Wuhan.
Wuhan which is the Chinese province form where the outbreak of the virus took place is locked down. Out of 25 trapped Indian students, 20 are from Kerala. 14 of those students who are doing an internship at a hospital in Yichang planned to fly to Kolkata from Kunming airport on Thursday night or Friday morning.
The Indian embassy in Bejing is having a close watch. The embassy is monitoring the World Health Organization’s (WHO) advisories and is connecting with Chinese authorities in this regard.

The relevant Chinese authorities have assured all assistance to residents of Wuhan, including food supply informed the embassy. The embassy is receiving requests from Indians in China and their relatives back in India after the outbreak of the virus.
Two hotline numbers are also started by the embassy: +8618612083629 and +8618612083617 for those who want to get in touch with them. Meanwhile, those coming to India from China are being diagnosed and checked for the virus.
