For all those who are working from home (and even if you are working from the office), G-Mail is like a go-to thing. However, the all so reliable G-mail ditched the user last night as it went down. If you were on social media (like Twitter) last night then #gmaildown would have passed through your eyes as a top trend.
G-Mail said that problems started to be flagged off at around 4:30 PM and reports continued to flurry in peaking at around 5:38 PM. Interestingly not only India but from across the globe, the complaints came in. However, the ones from India were high in numbers. It was said that it was a server related issue.
Google was quick to acknowledge the problem and assured fixing the issue as soon as possible. It also came to light that among those facing problems with G-Mail Airtel users were pronounced. While Google fixed the error it couldn’t stop members to have some fun from the situation.
