The infamous Bajrang Dal is again in the news and again for spreading hatred, which is exactly opposite to what Bajrang Bali would have ever wanted.
This time, as per the reports, Bajrang Dal reportedly, wants the CEO of Vaishno Devi shrine board CEO to resign from his post for organising sehri and iftaar for Muslims, during the month of Ramadan, who were quarantined Aashirwad Bhawan in Katra.
“By organising iftari, Ramesh Kumar, CEO of Shrine Board has hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community. Within 72 hours we want him to apologise or resign from the post,” Times Now quoted Naveen Soodan, state president of the Bajrang Dal as saying.
Like, who are these people to decide that Hindus sentiments are hurt by such an act of humanity? Being a Hindu, I, myself am proud of the Temple staff for the kind gesture during such tough times. Also, most of the people who enjoyed the food were labourers from across the country who everyone is trying to help right now.
People like Soodan do nothing to make the world a better place and criticise people who do the same. And really, it is time that such people get some peace of mind and stop making statements on behalf of every Hindu in the country. Not every Hindu is as inhuman as the so-called Hindu that Naveen is.
“This is Hindu money and should be used for the welfare of Hindu community only,” Soodan reportedly said. When confronted with the retort that not only Hindus but people of many faith pay obeisance Soodan apparently chose to cut short his conversation.
For the unknown, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, in a beautiful gesture, had prepared sehri and iftari for as many as 500 Muslims. According to an HT report, the shrine converted Aashirwad Bhawan in Katra into a quarantine centre in March.
“In the month of Ramazan, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has been working overnight to provide sehri and iftari to our Muslim brethren in the morning and the evening,” HT quoted Chief executive officer of the board, Ramesh Kumar, as saying.
