Upcoming Bangladesh tour of India has come under serious threat as the former country has lodged announced a strike. The crickets said they would refrain from taking part in any cricketing activities until their 11 demands made to Bangladesh Cricket are met.
Some of the demands by Bangladesh Cricket include:
Dhaka Premier League, the IPL like the premier tournament, should not have a salary cap.
Local players should have remuneration equal to foreign players.

Dismantling of the current Cricketers Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB) and have fresh elections to avoid conflict of interest.
More players should be in the central contracts list, and the need for higher salaries for them.

Early on Monday, senior players like Shakib, Mahmudullah Riyad and Mushfiqur Rahim made the announcement in a press conference.
