
Bank Holidays in September 2025: Full List of Festival and Weekly Closures

According to the calendar issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will remain closed for 15 days in September 2025. These include festival holidays and weekly closures. Below is the complete list:

- 4 September 2025 (Thursday): First Onam – Holiday in Kerala (Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi)
- 5 September 2025 (Friday): Eid-e-Milad (Milad-un-Nabi) – Holiday in multiple states
- 6 September 2025 (Saturday): Eid-e-Milad/Indrajatra – Banks closed in Gangtok and Raipur
- 7 September 2025 (Sunday): Weekly holiday – All banks closed nationwide
- 12 September 2025 (Friday): Day after Eid-e-Milad – Holiday in some states
- 13 September 2025 (Saturday): Second Saturday – All banks closed nationwide
