As many as three lawyers were left injured after an explosion at a Lucknow Court today. After the explosion, the eyewitnesses said that they have recovered at least 3 crude bombs at the court’s premises.
As per a report by Times of India, the target of the miscreants was Sanjeev Lodhi, who is the joint secretary of the Lucknow bar association. Lodhi has also blamed another lawyer named Jitu Yadav for the incident.
Other reports garnered adds that the explosion took place at the Lucknow collectorate in Hazratganj which is near the district magistrate’s office. The space is merely a kilometre away from the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha.
Soon condemning the breach at a prominent spot like a court, lawyers gathered outside the chambers and were seen protesting against the incident.
