In a first and a beautiful step, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) unit attached to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) organized a function to honour its 7 canines post-retirement. The event was conducted at the Prakriti Park near Shastri Park Metro station.

The unique ceremony was attended by CISF’s Delhi Metro security head and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Raghubir Lal conferring the dogs accompanied by their handlers, with medals, certificates of appreciation and mementos. The dogs have bravely served the para-military forces for over eight years.
