Jio’s announcement left the users by a shock as the telecom operator promised “free calls” and set the trend in the telecom industry. Now, charging 6 paise a minute is nothing but a complete turn from its commitment by the firm.

Though the company offered Free 1 GB additional data once a user spends INR 10 on his call charges, the users were not satisfied with the move. The charges would be applicable on all recharges post-October 10th.
IUC plans have been introduced by Jio starting from INR 10. Jio to Jio Calls would remain free for all the users.
