Kenya’s Brigid Kosgei won the Chicago Marathon on Sunday in a record timing of 2 hours, 14 minutes, 4 seconds to break a 16 years old marathon world record. 25-year-old Kosgei overcame Paula Radcliffe personal best of 2:15:25 set in London in 2003.

Kosgei won in Chicago last year with a timing of 2 hours, 18 minutes and 35 seconds.
