Brother of BJP leader Sonali Phogat with Goa Police has filed a formal complaint claiming that she was murdered by two of her co-workers.
“She had been threatened, she was scared. Something had been added to her food after she complained of restlessness. It’s a murder… I want justice for her”, said Rinku, her brother, before Sonali Phogat’s post-mortem.
Brother Of Sonali Phogat Filed A Complaint
Pramod Sawant, Goa Chief Minister, has said the Police are looking into the death of Sonali Phogat and the investigation is being conducted thoroughly.
As per the information provided by doctors and Goa Director General of Police (DGP) Jaspal Singh, it looks like she died of a severe heart attack, Mr Sawant told reporters.
On other hand, her brother claims that not so long before her death, Ms Phogat conversed with her mother, sister and brother-in-law, during which they felt that something was wrong with her. So they filed a complaint against two of her associates.
He also asserted that CCTV cameras, laptops, and other essential things from Phogat’s Haryana farmhouse are all missing after her demise.
“Phogat (42), the BJP leader from Hisar in Haryana who had found fame on Tik Tok, was “brought dead” at the St Anthony Hospital at Anjuna in North Goa on Tuesday morning, a police official earlier said, adding that she died of a suspected heart attack,” mentioned by indiatvnews.
A case of unnatural death has been registered by Anjuna Police and Phogat’s family members arrived in Goa on Tuesday night.
“We had asked her to stay away from them and return to Hisar the next day (after Phogat spoke to her mother)” Dhaka said to reporters at Anjuna Police Station.
“If the FIR is not filed against them, we will not allow the postmortem to be conducted in Goa,” he further added.
Dhaka also said that their family wants her sister’s post-mortem to be conducted at “All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi or at AIIMS, Jaipur”.
