The CBSE board exam class 12 has cancelled after the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting attended by Defence Minister, Union Ministers of Home, Finance Minister, Commerce Minister, Information & Broadcasting Minister, Petroleum and Women and Child Development Ministries and Principal Secretary to PM, Higher Education Departments, Cabinet Secretary and Secretaries of School Education, and other officials.
In the meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that with the cause of pandemic and rising cases in Covid-19 cases, the Class 12 CBSE board exams have cancelled.
The review meeting held from 5:30 pm on Tuesday in order to discuss the fate of the CBSE and other state board exams during the Covid-19 situation. In the meeting, officials reviewed a detailed presentation and extensive consultation held so far along with the views collected from all stakeholders, including the state governments.

Honorable Prime Minister said in the meeting that the student’s safety and health are ut-most important. He additionally said that the anxiety among students, teachers, and parents due to the possibility of the CBSE board exams must put to an end.
PM Modi said that in such a pandemic situation, board exams cannot be the reason to put our youth at risk. He added to his statement that students should not forced to appear for exams in such a stressful situation.
