Everyone who’s a fan of Zoya Akhtar and her creations would be aware of Tiger Baby. Or maybe not.
And if not, relax, we’ve got you covered. Basically Tiger Baby Production is a production house managed by film director and screenwriter, Zoya Akhtar and film director Reema Kagti.
Interestingly, though launched in 2015, unlike other production houses like Dharma production or Red Chillies entertaiment, Tiger Baby doesn’t enjoy a wide online presence.
And to change the notion, Zoya Akhtar had come up with an eye-catching way to promote the same on Instagram.
Celebs, producers and directors on Wednesday began to share a photoshopped image of themselves with a graphical tiger head replacing theirs. Tiger face because obviously, they are promoting Tiger Baby films and its debut on Instagram.
For the unknown, the Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt sttarrer, was produced under the same banner. Moreover, the 2019 web series Made in Heaven has also been produced by Tiger Baby along with Excel Entertainment.
Besides Karan Johar, actors including, the face of web series Inside Edge Season 1, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Alia Bhatt also shared their version of the bubbly tiger.
The next project for Zoya Akhtar is a four-segment short film named Ghost Stories. The same will be coming to Netflix on January 1, 2020.
Ghost stories serve a sequel to the 2013 and 2018 films – Bombay Talkies and Lust Stories respectively. The upcoming Indian anthology horror film will star the likes of Janhvi Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Gulshan Devaiah & Mrunal Thakur.
