In what would take a lot of preparation to deal with, the government resources, as per a report by NDTV, has said that Centre is considering the states’ request to extend lockdown to curb the coronavirus spread.
For the unknown, states, including Telangana and Uttar Pradesh have earlier requested PM Modi to extend the lockdown as the countrywide cases seem to be rising at a slow but regular pace.
“My personal opinion is that lockdown has to continue longer. We need to save lives, later we can save the economy,” Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao had said.
