Having a multitude of financial services, including contactless payments, in-app shopping, splitting bills, and cashback offers & discounts, it’s the ideal payment app. Its latest collaboration with TransUnion CIBIL has made it even more capable. The app is now offering a service to its users to know their new credit score every month.
Check Credit Score on Google Pay
The users can now check their credit score on Google Pay within the app after a few clicks. After the update, GPay’s user interface has been redesigned to show users their credit scores. The score gets renewed every month, and you don’t have to pay any charge to view it, unlike both the Paytm and Amazon Pay app, which provides a new credit score every three months.
What is a CIBIL Score?
A CIBIL score is a three-digit credit score which ranges from 300 to 900. With the help of this credit rating, the lenders decide whether you are creditworthy to approve a loan or offer a card with a lucrative credit limit or not. Generally, a lender prefers a borrower with a credit score close to 900 as much as it can get. An ideal score is 750 or above to get instant loan approvals with lower interest rates. To maintain a high credit score, a person can regularly monitor it for any significant drop. And Google Pay has made it easy for its users to get a fresh monthly score with a new update.
