In a bizarre incident that no one saw coming, a planned wedding in Gujarat had to be called off after the groom’s father ran away with the bride’s mother earlier this month. As per Times Now, the couple has not returned ever since.
A missing complaint naming the 48-year-old man and the 46-year-old woman has also been filed in the police station. Moreover, as per the family members, the middle-aged couple has known each other from earlier hinting a planned runaway and a love connection.
As per Times of India, the children of the couple were due to get married in the second week of February. However, the wedding has to be postponed until the duo is found.
As per the family members, the groom’s father and the bride’s mother used to date each other when they were neighbours in Katargam area of Surat city a long time ago.

Like a Bollywood movie, the woman was later married to a diamond broker thus ending a relationship but not the love story.

In statement family members gave to the police, they said that the two were last seen at their respective homes on January 10 of this year.
