As per the latest report from the Financial Times, the Chinese government has ordered government offices to do away with foreign computer equipment and software. The government has issued a 3-years timeline for the same.
The moves comes at a time when the U.S.-China trade war is brewing up with the U.S. is taking measures to limit the use of Chinese technology. The U.S. government early this year banned its firms from doing business with Chinese Chinese telecommunications company Huawei.

The move of the Chinese government is expected to be a blow to US multinational companies like HP, Dell, and Microsoft.
