Indian Army chopper carrying Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Ranbir Singh crash-landed in Poonch region of J&K. Lt Gen Ranbir and his staff on board had a narrow escape as no casualties were reported.

The Indian army helicopter was on his way Srinagar encountered a snag and was forced to crash land near the Bedar region of Poonch district. As a result of the crash landing, a civilian is said to have suffered injuries.

All the people on board were rushed for medical examination at the army medical center.
